Dos Lunas Grand Reserve is an Extra Añejo that breaks new ground in the luxury tequila category.

Dos Lunas Grand Reserve is the world’s first fully available tequila to be aged over 10 years (in natural sherry oak casks) and is also the only tequila on the market to be bottled in hand-blown, individually numbered and identifiable Baccarat decanters. Each Baccarat decanter arrives in an equally luxurious dark wooden box with an accompanying sterling silver key and necklace and a crystal stopper. Dos Lunas Grand Reserve has an expensive retail price of $2,500.

Like all Dos Lunas tequila products, Grand Reserve is harvested from 100% fully mature and natural blue agave plants. Because the agave plants only reach full maturity after 8 to 10 years, the entire tequila production process for Dos Lunas Grand Reserve is about 20 years. Stated Dos Lunas founder Richard C. Poe II, “In several ways Grand Reserve is much closer to the finest cognacs and single malts than to other tequilas. Dos Lunas set out to make the world’s best tequila and that goal influenced every decision that was made, from production to growth to packaging.” The result is an Extra Añejo of unparalleled smoothness, remarkable complexity, and luxurious presentation – a tequila that at least with price sets a new standard for the category.
