Does anyone remember a Canadian brand called Grizzlu Bear? This was a very strong brand that was popular many years back. I have not seen it on store shelves lately. Is it still made? |

It is important for anyone wanting relief from drugs and alcohol to research programs and centers. Look for a program with a licensed and experienced staff that will customize specific recovery programs according to each individual. It is important to want recovery for yourself and to make the commitment to change.

We drank Grizzly Beer back in the mid 80's at the University of Kentucky. It was the cheapest Canadian beer we could find(much cheaper than Moosehead). It was really our first "import" beer. I haven't had one since 1985.

I don't think that is was banned as much as its advertising is low key. Back in the day, I remember some really cool magazine ads for it.

I haven't heard of a Grizzlu Bear, only Grizzly Beer.
It's a Canadian Lager that is brewed by Hamilton Brewers.

This is the first time I am hearing about this brand. I guess it is more popular those days. However the popularity of strong beer had faded long ago.

I am not sure I have heard of Grizzly Beer. The name sounds lethal.
What brewery was made it? Do you think it could have been banned in the USA because of its alcohol content?
