I started drinking at the age of 12. I learned it from my friends. The first alcoholic drinks that really knocked me down was Gin. When my mom knew about it, I was grounded for a month and my allowance was cut off. How about you? Feel free to share your experience.

As a Hotel Management student I was always keen about drinking every type of Alcohol because in our classes we get to learn the processes of making different types of alcohols and our Mam used to describe the flavors of each with a brief description that thing inspired me to taste them (Atleast)

I enjoyed drinking with my friends several times but never experienced getting drunk till the throat (Which I want to)
I had drunk Vodka, Beer, Whiskey, Rum, Wines, Champagne, Etc

and didn't drink until i got a driver's license (bad combo, I know. his was in 1965.) We would sit outside the Cloverleaf tavern in my 1957 Ford Fairlane and wait for someone to go into the bar. We'd way lay him and ask if he would buy us a case (24 bottles) of Olympia or Rainier. Most times he would. We'd pay $5.00 total and tell him to 'keep the change.' Life has changed.

I started drinking when I was 12 or 13.. Back in my time ( i'm 51 ) things were different.. I was driving the neighbors cars around the neighborhood at the age of 10 and 11...

This one time, my friends parents were going out of town, so we cut the igniter so he couldn't start the convertible, and that forced him to take the station wagon instead of the convertible, leaving us the convertible :)

I was always allowed sips at home with my parents when I was younger. My dad used to make his own home made organic wines and beers, so we were surrounded with it all the time.

I never really started drinking with friends or anything, alcohol was not such a big deal to me.

In grade 9 (14 years old I think) a friend had myself and another girl over for a sleepover. Her parents were at the neighbours who were throwing a party; we learned there was a keg. My rebel friend did a fine job of sneaking us beer all night long until we were all quite drunk. Then we were all quite in trouble :)

My aunt and parents thought that if i tried it i woudlnt like it and they were right. I hate alcohol.
But I do like a whisky sour wihtout the whiskey, tom collins mix over ice.
I actualy get very ill if I have alcohol. even in medicine I avoid it.

I started drinking at the age of 20. It happened when I am in a University tour and it was accidental and what happened after that was intentional.

My dad always let us have wine on holidays. Also he would let us sip his beer. I started drinking with my friends at about the age of 15.

I too tried it at an early age but really was not a drinker until about 29. I may drink now once every few weeks on the weekends when we go to play music. Then it is maybe 2 or 3 beers or a few glasses of wine.
